Terms of use
These terms apply to everyone who uses Modulysa: listeners, families, practitioners and buyers.
What Modulysa is
Cessan Lean and Agile Coaching AB (559103-8699), Ribbylundsvägen 3, 137 41 Västerhaninge, Sweden provides Modulysa: it sells the programme, runs the service and is responsible for your data. The method, the music and the Modulysa name belong to Modulysa's founders and are used under licence.
Modulysa is a listening programme, not a medical treatment. It does not replace diagnosis or therapy.
Use it at your own judgement. If listening feels unpleasant, stop and talk to your practice, or to us.
If the listener is in treatment, keep their doctor or therapist informed.
Who uses Modulysa
- Listeners play the programme. When the listener is a child, a parent or guardian holds the account and accepts these terms for the child.
- Practitioners run a practice. The practice invites its listeners, chooses what each one may play, and follows their listening and questionnaire results.
- Country managers look after the practices in one country.
- Buyers purchase the programme online, for themselves or for their child, without a practice.
Your account
- Keep your password to yourself. One person uses an account, from one place at a time.
- Sign-ins from two places at once are logged. If it keeps happening, the account is locked until the practice unlocks it, or until we do if you have no practice.
- The music is licensed for listening in Modulysa only. Downloading it is not allowed; it is detected and can lock the account.
Buying the programme
- A programme is a fixed number of listening sessions: 21. You see the price before you pay.
- Payment goes through Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach Modulysa.
- Your order number is the number of the invoice Stripe makes for your purchase.
- The programme starts at once. At checkout you tick a box to agree to that, and that your 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer rules ends once listening starts.
- The confirmation e-mail repeats this, so you have it in writing.
Practitioner accounts
A practitioner account is a monthly subscription, paid by card through Stripe. You can cancel it at any time.
You see your listeners' listening and questionnaire results. Use them only in your work with that listener, and tell the family what you can see.
Our responsibility
We work to keep Modulysa available and secure, but we cannot promise that it never stops or has faults.
As far as the law allows, Modulysa is not liable for the outcome of a programme or for losses that come from using it. This does not limit your rights as a consumer.
Changes and law
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Swedish law applies.

What we store, why, who can see it, and what you can ask of us.
What we store
- Account details: name, age, e-mail address and language.
- Listening: the tracks played, and for how long.
- Exercises: your game results.
- Questionnaires: the responses you submit.
- Sign-ins: when you signed in, and what is needed to notice account sharing.
- Purchases: the e-mail address, what was bought, the amount and Stripe's invoice number. Card details stay with Stripe.
We use this to run the programme, to let the practice follow its listeners, to keep accounts safe and the music protected, and to improve the site.
Children and sensitive answers
Many of our listeners are children. We do not collect a child's date of birth, e-mail address, phone number, postal address or other identifying details; the e-mail address on the account is the parent's or guardian's.
If the family chooses to do the exercises and to follow progress with the questionnaires, Modulysa stores the listener's age and the answers about everyday life. This happens in agreement with the practice, and the answers are seen only by the practice and by the family, apart from the support access described below.
A parent or guardian holds a child's account, can use every right on this page on the child's behalf, and can have everything about the child deleted through the practice or by writing to us.
Who can see what
- The listener, or the parent who holds the account, sees their own listening and what the practice shares with them.
- The practice sees its own listeners: their listening, exercise results and questionnaire answers. It never sees another practice's listeners.
- A country manager can open the practices in their country to support them.
- Modulysa's administrators can see all data, to run the service and to help when something goes wrong.
Cookies and statistics
- A session cookie keeps you signed in.
- A security cookie protects the forms you send.
- A language cookie remembers your language. On your first visit, the language is chosen from the country of your IP address.
- One cookie remembers that you have seen the cookie notice.
We use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies, to see which pages are visited and which features are used, so we can improve the site.
It is told the page language and whether the visitor is signed in, and in which role. It never gets names, account IDs or questionnaire answers.
We show no advertising, never sell data and do not follow you across other sites.
You can block cookies in your browser. You then cannot sign in, but the public pages still work.
Services we use
Stripe handles payments, Google provides the statistics and the fonts on the pages, an e-mail service sends our e-mails, and Cloudflare stores our encrypted backups.
Where and for how long
- Our servers are in the EU.
- We keep your data while the account is in use and for a short time after it closes. Then we delete it.
- Payment records are kept as long as bookkeeping law requires. Encrypted backups are kept for up to a year, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we have about you, correct it, get a copy of it or have it deleted.
Write to hello@modulysa.com, or ask your practice: the practice created the listener account and can correct or close it. We answer within a month.
If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
